ESSA and NOVA

ESSA company was founded in 1990 as a trading company dealing with food. Since the establishment the company focused its activities on field of foodstuff, especially canned fruit, vegetable and fish. At the present time, there is more than 350 kinds of products in the company product range. The company established business activities with foreign associate that helped to expand - ESSA has become an exclusive agency for the Czech Republic of Austrian company ALMI, dealing with various spices and technologies for meat industry.

In the year 2002 company entered Slovak market where it was established subsidiary company ESSA Slovakia in order to ensure sale and distribution of the products in Slovakia.

For the time being the latest accession into ESSA Group was the acquisition of canning factory NOVA, a.s., which is focused on manufacturing of sterilized vegetable and stewed fruits in glass jars, marmalades, jams, fruit fillings for bakeries, syrups, mustards and ketchups.

Nowadays the companies under ESSA Group develop business activities not only within the Czech Republic, where act as an esteemed supplier of the most important food chains and private wholesalers, bakeries, gourmet shops but also enlarge the trade activities abroad. Therefore products under ESSA brand can be also found in Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Company ESSA is holder of IFS Logistic certification and company NOVA, a.s. is certified with ISO 9001:2000 and HACCAP. The ambitions of our company are to provide still more sophisticated and superior service to our customer.
